We would like to invite any parents of children in year 6 transitioning to secondary school in September to our Getting Ready for Transition to Secondary School parent workshop, as part of the revised GReaT groups summer programme following the Covid-19 outbreak.

This will take place on Wednesday 29 July 2020 from 10.00am - 12.00pm.

The session will include:

  • A chance to hear from the Diabetes team about preparations for secondary school
  • Time to discuss hopes, concerns and how you have prepared for secondary school with other parents and members of the Diabetes team
  • A chance to share ideas and strategies for managing the challenges during this period.

This workshop is open to all parents/carers of young people in Year 6 under the care of the UCLH Paediatric Diabetes team who are transitioning to secondary school in September. 

Please note that this is a PARENT ONLY workshop - and children are not expected to attend this session.
