If you are aged 16 or over, you can remove proxy access to your record through the Sharing Hub in your MyCare account.
Follow these steps in the app or website version of MyCare:
1. From the MyCare menu, select Sharing Hub.
2. From Sharing Hub, select the option for Manage friends and family access.
3. Here you can see a list of people who have proxy access to your medical record.
Select Remove for the relevant person.
4. You will be asked to confirm you wish to remove this person’s access to your medical record.
Select Remove again to confirm.
5. This person’s access will be removed. The list of people with access to your record will be updated automatically.
