UCLH provides an integrated specialist service for the diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of patients with TTP, aHUS and other TMAs. UCLH is a designated NHS England specialist TTP centre.
These conditions are rare disorders, but we have a dedicated team of medical professionals who have developed patient pathways to maximise response to therapies. We are committed to investing in research to understand these disorders and improve treatments.

Acute referrals
For TTP/TMA referrals during normal working hours please contact the UCLH TTP/Transfusion SPR (bleep 7050) via UCLH switchboard (02034567890). Outside of normal working hours please contact the on-call haematology SPR (ask the UCLH switchboard operator for the haematology registrar covering TTP/clotting). The on-call TTP/clotting consultant can also be reached by contacting UCLH switchboard.
