Complaints, compliments, and feedback about your critical care experience
If you have a concern about care, please ask to speak to the nurse in charge. We will listen and try to fix the problem quickly. You can also contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service.
PALS can speak to the ward or unit for you. PALS is not an emergency service. PALS replies as soon as they can, between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Visit the PALS page for contact details.
To make a formal complaint, please email uclh.
You can send a compliment to a member of staff or a team using the UCLH compliment form. You can also email the Critical Care administration team: uclh.
The DAISY Award recognises registered nurses and midwives. The TULIP Award recognises healthcare assistants, midwifery care assistants, and allied health professional support workers. These awards recognise colleagues who show compassion, strong clinical skills, and kindness. You can nominate someone using the UCLH DAISY/TULIP nomination form.
If you wish to request access to your medical records, please see our information about accessing medical records at UCLH.
The National Health Service also provides information about your rights to view records on its website.
