The reproductive medicine unit offers a range of surgical treatments that aim to help couples conceive naturally or improve chances of conception with assisted reproductive treatments.
You will be referred to our consultants who perform reproductive surgery (Mr Ertan Saridogan, Mr Dimitrios Mavrelos and Miss Ephia Yasmin) who will see, advise and perform the surgical treatment if appropriate.
We offer surgery for a range of pathology including fibroids, ovarian cysts, hydrosalpinges and endometriosis.
These are predominantly treated with minimal access techniques including:
- Hysteroscopic resection of fibroids
- Hysteroscopic division of intrauterine adhesions (Asherman syndrome)
- Laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis/ removal of ovarian cysts
- Laparoscopic tubal surgery
- Laparoscopic myomectomy
