Appointed stakeholder governor for the UCLH Charities Committee

Diarmid has over 31 years’ experience of building and running businesses that have created significant value. As an Investor and Director, he has led a number of private equity investments into fast growing companies across a variety of sectors.

He is currently a Director of Vision Ventures.ai, a technology company, and a Founder of ValuAnalysis, an independent investment boutique focusing on proprietary research and investment advisory. 

Until February 2023, he was a Director of Wejo Group, a data technology company in the Smart Mobility space. He was also a seed investor in Grind - the fast-growing specialist coffee consumer brand - and served as Chair from 2014 until a successful exit in 2021.  

Diarmid is a Trustee and Vice Chair of The National Brain Appeal, a UCLH charity which supports the work of The National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery (Queen Square). He also chairs the Nominations, Appointments & Remuneration Committee of UCLH.

Diarmid holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA from Princeton University.
