Our welfare and benefits team can advise people having care at UCLH for cancer or a blood condition on how to stay independent.

 

They can help you to apply for a blue badge if you can’t walk long distances and need your car to get around. They can also help you to apply for a London Taxi Card if you live in London and qualify for the scheme (the London Taxi Card allows you to get subsidised taxi fares).

 

Just ask your hospital doctor or nurse, or a support and information specialist to refer you to the welfare and benefits team.
