Pre and post deployment health screening
The Travel Clinic at HTD offers a specialist pre- and post-deployment screening service for the staff of organisations which regularly send people to work internationally.
The below information is intended for individuals who have been referred to us for pre-travel clearance by their organisations.
Your organisation requires you to have a health clearance appointment prior to your deployment/departure overseas.
This process involves several steps prior to your certificate being released.
-
Pre-appointment tasks
Before your appointment, it is essential that you complete the ‘pre-appointment tasks’ on MyCare, located under the ‘questionnaire and health summary’ tabs.
If you do not do this, it may delay your clearance certificate being issued or lead to the wrong appointments being booked.
-
UCLH Travel Clinic Questionnaire
-
Corporate Pre-Deployment Questionnaire
-
Immunisation Questionnaire
-
Immunisation History
Please do not begin including your immunisation history unless you have all your records available. Once you select save, you cannot change your immunisation history.
- Nurse-led appointment
- Doctor-led appointment, including a physical examination
- Basic observations (height, weight, blood pressure)
- Blood and urine tests
- Vaccinations and anti-malarial medication where appropriate
- Clearance certificate released once results available.
