In the interests of full transparency, staff are required to comply with our Declarations of Interest, Gifts and Hospitality Policy which sets out how and when to declare interests, gifts and hospitality. Decision-making staff are required to make an annual declaration, including a nil declaration, even if they have no interests to declare. Decision-making staff are defined as all consultants, all SAS doctors and dentists, all directors, all staff on Very Senior Manager pay scales and all staff on Agenda for Change bands 8D and 9.
All staff are required to make positive declarations on receipt of any gift or offer of hospitality or if they have any known conflict of interest that may be a conflict to them and the Trust.
UCLH will publish an annual register of declarations, along with a list of decision-making staff that have not yet made a declaration within the year.
