  • residents in a care home for older adults
  • individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the ‘immunosuppression’ sections of tables 3 or 4 in the COVID-19 chapter of the green book)

If you are eligible, you can book to have your vaccine at UCLH via the National Booking System or simply walk in to our Vaccination Clinic (located on the ground floor, Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals) until 17 June 2025, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4.30pm.

Please note, walk in appointments are subject to availability.

Paediatric vaccine clinic – 7 June 2025

UCLH is running a dedicated COVID-19 booster and MMR vaccine clinic for children on Saturday 7 June, 9am to 1pm.

All children are recommended to receive two doses of the MMR vaccine – the first at approximately one year of age, and the second at 3 years and 4 months. If your child has missed any doses or did not receive them at the recommended times, we can offer catch-up vaccinations.

If your child is 6 months to 17 years old, and has a weakened immune system, they are also eligible for the COVID-19 spring booster vaccine. Make sure they are protected as they navigate school, social activities, and everyday life.

You must book an appointment (no walk-in availability). For this clinic, please book using our local booking system: https://bit.ly/uclh-paeds-imms

The benefits of COVID-19 vaccination

Getting vaccinated gives you the best protection against COVID-19.

The vaccines help:

  • reduce your risk of getting seriously ill or dying from COVID-19. Some people are known to be more at risk of severe illness from COVID-19 and it can make some otherwise healthy people very ill, too.
  • reduce your risk of catching COVID-19, and therefore reduce your risk of needing time off work due to COVID-19-related illness.
  • reduce your risk of spreading COVID-19 to others, helping you to look after your family, friends, colleagues and community.
  • protect against COVID-19 variants. The virus that causes COVID-19 changes over time; having all vaccine doses you are eligible for provides the best protection against future variants.
