This dynamic learning experience allows you to observe clinical practice across a range of specialist services, including:
- Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Service: As a principal treatment centre, UCLH provides specialist cancer care for young people aged 13 to 24, with a wide range of cancers.
- CAR-T Cell Therapy; UCLH is one of Europe’s leading centres for CAR T-cell therapy. Each treatment is tailored to the individual, aiming for the best outcomes whilst minimising the potential risks.
- Medical and Clinical Oncology: See how multidisciplinary teams manage complex cancer cases with precision and compassion.
- Haematology: UCLH is one of the largest blood conditions treatment centre in Europe with 98 inpatient beds and a comprehensive day care service. As well as being a regional referral centre, the service is the main treatment centre for patients from north and east London and west Essex. Gain insight into the diagnosis and treatment of blood cancers and disorders, including bone marrow transplant pathways.
- Proton Beam Therapy: Experience one of only two centres in the UK delivering this advanced, highly targeted radiotherapy—used for treating rare and complex tumours.
