This service is now provided by the Barts Heart Centre.
The transfer of this service was part of our plan to improve our patient care, by combining the best of the cardiac services at the Heart Hospital and St Bartholomew’s Hospital into one centre.
The dedicated centre concentrates specialist services in larger numbers which improves outcomes and reduces complications – this can save even more lives a year by providing patients with world-class care at every stage –from prevention and diagnosis, through to treatment and rehabilitation.
