The child wellbeing practitioners within the paediatric psychology team will be running the ‘Understanding your Child’s Behaviour’ group.

The group will run for 8 weeks consecutively, starting from Wednesday 14 May from 1pm - 2pm online via Microsoft Teams.

This group is for parents with a child under a consultant at UCLH. Support can be for the child or their sibling. Support is aimed at children aged 2-9 years old.

The aim of the group is to provide strategies and guidance that can be used at home to support their child’s behaviour. We believe that parents are the experts when it comes to their child and will have the best understanding of how their child will respond and what will motivate them.

We will be covering areas such as, praise and reward, effective instructions, selective ignoring , time out and family rules.
