The Children’s Cancer Appeal is raising funds to transform the radiotherapy unit at UCLH for the thousands of young patients who receive treatment each year.
UCLH will soon become the largest centre for paediatric radiotherapy, treating over half of all children in England who require radiotherapy, in the next year.

Although the clinical care provided at UCLH is exceptional, the current environment feels clinical, tired and not reflective of the compassion and expertise we deliver.
A child‑centred space can significantly reduce anxiety and help young patients cope better with treatment — and that’s where the children’s radiotherapy appeal comes in. The UCLH Charity Cancer Fund is aiming to raise £150,000 to transform the children’s radiotherapy environment by:
