There is industrial action by resident doctors (formerly known as junior doctors) from 7am on Friday 25 July until 7am on Wednesday 30 July.
If you need non-emergency care, continue to access you GP services, go to NHS 111 online at www.
If you have a life-threatening emergency, you should still call 999.
UCLH will prioritise care in its emergency department for patients with a life-threatening illness or injury. Patients who do not have a life-threatening condition may experience longer waits than normal or be directed to other healthcare providers.
We are working hard to minimise disruption to non-emergency services and maintain patient safety during this time. If we need to rearrange any appointments, we will contact patients directly to let them know. If you have an appointment at any of our hospitals, please assume this is going ahead unless you have been told otherwise.
If you’re concerned and feel you need to speak to someone, please contact your clinical team using the contact information on your appointment letter or on our website.
Our maternity services and emergency department remain open – please do attend as normal if you need urgent care.
If you’re still concerned, you can contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS).
