The service is provided by experienced doctors. An individual treatment programme is designed, combining conventional and complementary medicine approaches.
The aims of this service are to improve joint problems and associated symptoms, quality of life and general wellbeing, and allow reduction of conventional medication (where possible and appropriate).
We work closely with the musculoskeletal service. Our team includes doctors, an osteopath, occupational therapist, dietician, podiatrist and nurse practitioners with specialist skills in various types of complementary medicine. We provide diagnostic techniques including imaging and blood tests and treat a wide range of rheumatological problems.
