Professional background

Matthew graduated from the University of Bristol where he also undertook his higher specialist training in Restorative Dentistry. He was appointed as a consultant in 2009 and joined the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2013. He is the honorary secretary of the British Society for Restorative Dentistry.

Research interests

Matthew's clinical, teaching and research interests cetre around the oral rehabilitation of patients with significant developmental and acquired defects such as hypodontia, cleft lip and palate, tooth structure disturbances and head and neck oncology.
