Chris Taylor is a consultant in neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care at the National Hospital For Neurology and Neurosurgery. He studied medicine at University College London and trained in paediatrics on the East London rotation before entering anaesthesia and critical care on the north central Thames rotations mainly at University College London Hospitals.

Chris has a specialist interest in anaesthesia for Intracranial, spinal and pituitary neurosurgery as well as interventional radiology & MRI. He has a regular commitment to the neuromedical intensive care unit. Chris is the educational lead for the department of neuroanaesthesia and is a primary FRCA examiner for the Royal College of Anaesthetists.

Research interests

Observational retrospective studies related to outcome in patients with subarachnoid haemorrhage, status epilepticus and myasthenia gravis managed on the critical care unit.
