HOPE is a six-week, self-management course for people who have recently finished cancer treatment.
At the course, you’ll get practical advice to help you to cope with the day-to-day emotional and physical impact of cancer after treatment.
The course also helps you to:
- refocus on your inner strengths
- use goal-setting tools to build your confidence
- increase your resilience with the support of others.
You’ll also have the time to talk to the others in the group and share your experiences.
Who can join the group?
The group is for anyone who has recently finished cancer treatment.

At the Macmillan Support and Information Service, on the ground floor of the Macmillan Cancer Centre

Information for the days of the course
- Please do a lateral flow test on the morning of each day you attend the course.
- Please don't come to the Cancer Centre if you have a positive lateral flow test result or if you have cold or flu symptoms.
