How to donate

UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation relies on the generosity of our supporters. We are very grateful for each and every donation that we receive as without these we would not be able to fund the projects that you see here – projects that change peoples’ lives.

There are many ways in which you can show your support. These are outlined below:

Make a one-off donation

You can print off a donation and gift aid form here and send it with your cheque payable to ‘UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation’. Please send your cheque to UCL Hospitals Charitable Foundation, 3rd Floor East, 250 Euston Road, London, NW1 2PG.

If you would prefer to make a donation over the telephone please call us between 8am and 2pm, Monday to Friday on 020 3447 9558.

You can also donate online if you want your donation to benefit the Cancer Centre.  Please click here to make a donation online.

Make a regular donation

By standing order
Regular monthly or annual donations help us to plan our future projects and can be made by standing order. We can reclaim the tax through Gift Aid. Please print off and complete the standing order form and post it back to us.

By Give as You Earn (GAYE)
As a tax-paying employee, one of the most efficient ways of giving is through Payroll Giving, or GAYE as it is sometimes known. With this method of donating the employer deducts the gift from the employee’s pay (or retired employee’s pension) before tax is calculated, and the donor pays tax only on the balance of their salary. For example, an employee paying 20 per cent tax and pledging £10 a month would notice a deduction from their net pay of only £8 a month, as the remaining £2 comes from tax relief.
If you would like to donate in this way, you will need to check whether your Payroll Department is set up for GAYE. If it is then you simply print out and complete this form and give it to your Payroll Department.

Make a donation with your CAF card

You can make a donation on-line by credit card or using your CAF Account, by going to www.cafonline.org and putting in the search term ‘UCL Hospitals’ under ‘Find a charity and donate’.

Leaving a legacy

You may choose to leave a gift for UCL Hospitals in your will. If you would like information about how to go about doing this, please contact the office by emailing Shirley Featherstone at shirley.featherstone@uclh.nhs.uk or calling 020 3447 9558.

 Gift aid it...

Gift aid it...

Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further.

This means that £100 can be turned into £125, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make and it doesn’t cost you a thing.

To qualify for Gift Aid, what you pay in United Kingdom income tax or capital gains tax must at least equal the amount we will claim in the tax year, and you must provide your full name and home address details.

Please click here for a gift aid declaration form.
