This course will improve communication skills for clinicians working with cancer patients.

This one day course provides a supportive environment for delegates working with patients with a cancer diagnosis to reflect on communications skills and challenges.

Delegates will improve their communications skills with the support of trained facilitators in small peer groups, using shared experience and reflection to develop strategies to help manage challenging communication confidently and effectively.

Band 5/6 registered nurses and allied health professionals working regularly with patients diagnosed with cancer. This course is open with no charge to staff of UCLH, Barts, North Middlesex and BHRUT, with a £50 security deposit for external staff.
