The mesothelioma support group is a safe space for you to share your experience with others who understand what you're going through. If you prefer, you can just listen to other peoples' stories. The group is facilitated by a clinical nurse specialist and a support and information specialist.

 

Who can join the group? 

The group is for anyone affected by mesothelioma, including patients and their family members, carers and friends. 

  

When is the group held?  

The group meets on the 1st Friday of every 2nd month, 11.30am to 1pm

The group will meet on these dates: 7 June, 2 August, 4 October, 6 December 2024.

 

Where does the group take place?   

The group meets at the Macmillan Support and Information Service, on the ground floor of the UCH Macmillan Cancer Centre.

Information for the day of the group
  • Please don't come to the Cancer Centre if you have a cold, cough, sore throat or any flu-like symptoms.

  • If possible, please arrive 15 minutes before the group starts. This will give you time to greet the other members of the group before it starts.
