Professional background
Ananth Shankar is a consultant paediatric and adolescent oncologist at UCLH. He is the clinical lead for paediatric & adolescent neuro-oncology and his special interests include, functional imaging in gliomas and nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin Lymphoma [NLPHL]. He is a honorary associate professor in paediatrics at the ICH/UCL and a Fellow of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK.

Ananth Shankar is an undergraduate examiner with University College London and is also a clinical and educational supervisor of paediatric oncology trainees as well as an assessor on ARCP panels for paediatric trainees.
