Professional background
Camilla qualified from Oxford University Medical School in 2007. Her postgraduate training included a broad range of specialities including acute and integrated paediatrics. She has a special interest in children and young people's infectious diseases and has completed the Paediatric Diploma of Infectious Diseases at Oxford University and Paediatric Infectious Diseases SPIN module.
She also has particular interest in medical education and has undertaken the certificate of medical education at Dundee University.
To complement her clinical and educational training she developed her clinical leadership skills through the Darzi programme and gained a distinction in the postgraduate Certificate of Medical Leadership and Management in 2017.
She joined the general paediatrics team at UCLH in 2020. Her clinical work involves acute general paediatrics, infectious diseases and refugee health. She also has a major role in design and development of undergraduate medical training as well as supporting postgraduate education and championing patient safety.
