Professional background

Dr Mysa Al-Fozan (BDS, MFDS RCS Edin, MSc UCL, MSCD RCS Edin) is a consultant in special care dentistry at the Eastman Dental Hospital.

She graduated BDS in 2006 from the University of Manchester. She obtained MFDS RCS Edin in 2009 and completed a masters in special care dentistry at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in 2014. She completed her speciality training as part of the south west deanery training programme at the University Hospital Bristol and completed the tricollegate MSCD in affiliation with RCS Edin in 2018.

Mysa Al-Fozan has worked in a range of fields including hospital and community dental services prior to being appointed as a consultant at Eastman Dental Hospital, UCLH. Her present role includes the dental management of medically compromised adults, adults with dental anxiety and or learning disability, and adults experiencing homelessness. She leads the speciality in clinical audit and is actively involved in education and clinical teaching.
