I work clinically within the department of neuroanaesthesia and neurocritical care at Queen Square working predominately to provide anaesthesia for intracranial surgery; including neuro-oncology, neurovascular surgery and skull base surgery. I also run a service offering general anaesthesia and sedation for those who need an MRI scan. I am one of the four consultant anaesthetists who run the surgical  neurocritical care unit and high dependency unit.

As deputy clinical director for Queen Square division I am responsible for all aspects of quality and clinical governance. I work to achieve  high standards of care across the division and have created an environment where our patients and their carers are central to all that we do.

I also chair the UCLH clinical effectiveness sub-group.
