Professional background

Miss Radha Graham is a consultant gynaecological oncologist at University College London Hospital, and is a specialist in the management of ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulval and vaginal cancers.

Miss Graham completed her undergraduate training at the University of Cambridge and clinical training at St George's Medical School. She undertook specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in North London and subsequently a three year Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists subspecialty training fellowship in gynae-oncology at University College London Hospital.

Her practice encompasses the comprehensive surgical management of gynaecological malignancies and includes performing advanced cytoreductive surgery for ovarian and endometrial cancers, surgery for cervical malignancies (including nerve sparing radical hysterectomy), minimal access (laparoscopic) surgery and surgery for vulval and vaginal cancers.

She also undertakes surgery for pre-cancerous tumours and complex benign gynaecology and is the deputy lead for the Teenage and Young Adult Gynaecological Oncology surgery service. She leads the UCLH gynaecological oncology service for Lynch syndrome diagnosis and testing in patients with endometrial cancer. She has undertaken training in performing Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) at the Gemelli hospital in Rome and at UCLH. She was awarded the British Gynaecological Cancer Society Trainee Prize in 2021 for her work on the fertility preserving management of endometrial cancer.

She is passionate about raising awareness of the symptoms of gynaecological malignancy and has worked with the EVE appeal charity on projects working with local communities, and with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in developing new patient focussed advice and guidance.

She is a member of the British Gynaecological Cancer Society, the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the European Society of Gynaecological Oncologists, and the International Gynaecologic Cancer Society.
