Dr Sarah Benafif

Dr Benafif is a medical oncology consultant and joined the team at UCLH in January 2022 in a joint appointment with the Whittington hospital. She is also involved in early phase oncology trials working within the UCLH Clinical Research Facility.  

Dr Benafif was awarded a PhD in cancer genetics from the Institute of Cancer Research after working on studies investigating the use of hereditary genetics to guide cancer screening and treatment. Prior to her current role, she was a senior clinical research fellow in the UCLH Clinical Research Facility having completed her medical oncology training in 2020 in the North-Central London Deanery.
