Professional background

Daljit Gill undertook his undergraduate training at the Royal London Hospital and graduated in 1996. During his undergraduate training he also undertook an intercalated BSc in Pharmacology. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1999, completed an MSc in Orthodontics in 2001, the Membership in Orthodontics (RCS Eng) in 2002 and the fellowship in Orthodontics (RCS Eng) in 2004. He was appointed a full-time consultant/honorary senior lecturer at UCLH/UCL in 2005. He has an honorary consultant post at Great Ormond Street Hospital because of his involvement in the management of craniofacial deformity.

Research interests

Daljit Gill has a number of subspeciality interests including the multidiciplinary management of cranio-facial deformity, facial deformity and hypodontia (missing teeth). He also has a clinical interest in adult orthodontics.

Publications

Daljit Gill has over 50 publications in peer reviewed journals and is author of a textbook titled 'Orthodontics at a Glance'.
