Professional background
Wai Gin (Don) LEE, PhD FRACS (he/him), is a consultant urological surgeon and andrologist in London, UK. He is an associate professor at University College London. His practice encompasses all aspects of male sexual health including erectile dysfunction, Peyronie’s disease and male infertility. He has a subspecialist interest in complex penile prosthetic surgery and penile reconstruction (phalloplasty) including masculinising gender affirmation surgery.
He serves on the Executive Committee (Board) of both the European and British Societies for Sexual Medicine (ESSM and BSSM) in addition to the British Association of Urological Surgeons Section of Andrology. He chairs the International Society for Sexual Medicine Scientific Review Committee and serves on the Editorial Boards of the BJU International journal, Sexual Medicine Reviews journal and Video Journal of Sexual Medicine.
Teaching is a passion of his and he enjoys sharing his expertise as faculty at the European School of Urology and as invited faculty for national and international conferences performing live surgical demonstrations and masterclass lectures. He has published multiple peer-reviewed research articles and book chapters.
