Therese Bidder: RN, BSc (hons), BBA (adult, child & advanced), Independent Nurse Prescriber.
She qualified as a registered nurse at King’s College Hospital in 1988 and went on to specialise in cardio-thoracic nursing at Harefield Hospital. She gained her first asthma-specific qualification in 1999 and this inspired a passion for managing asthma as a practice nurse and then as a clinical nurse specialist for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) at the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust.
She has a BSc honours degree in respiratory care and is also a qualified therapist in the Buteyko breathing technique. She enjoys the opportunity of working with people to help manage their asthma and reduce the impact of asthma on their lives.
