All semen analysis referrals should be made via the NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS). We will no longer be able to book semen analysis appointments through direct requests from patients or GP surgeries via email.

Our current wait for appointments is approximately 10-12 weeks. We are working our way through our waiting lists as quickly and safely as possible, and currently still require patients to bring their samples with them to their appointment. Instructions are sent to the patient around a month before their appointment and can also be found on this webpage.

We thank you for your patience while our service continues to catch up after significant disruption during the pandemic.

Out of hours

The normal working hours for the Communications Unit are Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm. The only media enquiries that will be answered outside of these working hours are urgent enquiries and those relating to major incidents. To access the out-of-hours service, call the switchboard on 020 3456 7890.
