  • Navigating AML: The patient's pathway from diagnosis to treatment.

This educational event is for UCLH referring consultants and interested colleagues who work with UCLH on all aspects of AML. We will discuss typical cases you might see in your practice and there will be an opportunity to bring AML cases to discuss MDT-style with our team.

We will be providing an educational update on the whole Acute Myeloid Leukaemia patient journey:

  • diagnosis and understanding AML genetics/risk stratification
  • current treatment including intensive and non intensive options
  • Venetoclax based regimens
  • managing relapse and the latest trials
  • palliative care and long-term survivorship in AML.
  • managing AML cases at diagnosis when there is no bed at UCLH and/or we're awaiting genetics/results
  • choosing intensive versus non intensive treatment.
