  • COVID-19 information for patients and visitors

The latest information about UCLH and the COVID-19 outbreak, including information for visitors, is available on this webpage. Please check the latest information before coming to the hospital.

We have been working hard to respond to the coronavirus pandemic and ensure the safety and quality of our services for all patients.

Our priority has been to make sure everyone who needs urgent care – not just those with COVID-19 – have been able to get it when they need it.

We are now gradually increasing some face-to-face services, but only where these can be done safely – the virus is still circulating and we don’t want to put our patients, the public or our staff at greater risk.

    Changes at UCLH

There have been a number of changes in our hospitals to keep all our patients and staff as safe as possible. These include:

    • Adapting our hospital departments to support social distancing
    • Where possible, providing different routes through our hospitals for patients who have or may have COVID-19
    • Making sure our staff have the most appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
    • Cleaning our hospitals more often
    • Patient and staff testing for COVID-19
  • Information for patients, visitors and carers

Welcome to the patients and visitors section of our website. In this section we have provided clear information for patients, carers and visitors to the Trust which will help make your visit or stay more comfortable.
