UCH London Nurses' Charity

The UCH Nurses' League was founded in 1909, and was a non-profit making organisation that existed for the benefit of UCH nurses. On January 1st 2016 The League became a charity and changed its name to The UCH London Nurses’ Charity.  It remains a non-profit making organisation run by Trustees who are all volunteers. It is appealing for more nurses (past and present) from UCH to join them.

"Being a member of the charity is important to me as it helps keep the history and heritage of nursing at UCH alive, whilst supporting nurses now and in the future."
Alison Finch, UCLH Matron and UCH London Nurses’ Charity trustee

"I am immensely proud that I received my initial training at University College Hospital in 1983, an education which has always kept me in good stead throughout my nursing career. My membership with the UCH London Nurses’ Charity helps me to have a strong professional bond with my nursing colleagues and maintain a link between the past and the present."
Hilary Baker, Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist for Urological Cancer
