About us

Welcome to the About us section. Here you can find information about University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), including our Council of Governors and board, our key policies and publications and our performance.
UCLH, situated in the heart of London, is one of the largest NHS trusts in the United Kingdom and provides first-class acute and specialist services in six hospitals.

Our mission is to deliver top-quality patient care, excellent education and world-class research.
In December 2006, in partnership with University College London (UCL) we became one of the country’s five comprehensive biomedical research centres. We are a member of UCL Partners which brings together five of Britain's world-renowned medical research centres and hospitals: UCL; Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust; Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust; the Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust; and UCLH. UCL Partners was officially designated as one of the UK’s first academic health science centres by the UK Department of Health in March 2009.
