About us

Welcome to the About us section. Here you can find information about University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH), including our governing body and board, our key policies and publications and our performance.

UCLH, situated in the heart of London, is one of the largest NHS trusts in the United Kingdom and provides first-class acute and specialist services in seven hospitals.

Our mission is to deliver top-quality patient care, excellent education and world-class research.

We have come together with University College London (UCL), Moorfields Eye Hospital, The Royal Free Hampstead, Barts and The London NHS Trust, Queen Mary University of London and Great Ormond Street Hospital to create Europe’s largest and strongest academic health science partnership. UCL Partners pools resources and expertise to produce outstanding research and delivers the benefits more rapidly to patients.

In November 2011, we were delighted to be awarded the accolade top NHS hospital trust in London, according to the Dr Foster Hospital Guide 2011/12.
