Event date: 26 July 2022, 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Event location: Online
This month Dr Anrea Pucci (consultant obesity physician at UCLH) has offered to facilitate a session discussing GLP-1 receptor agonist medications, and the use of these medications in UK weight management services.
The monthly support group is open to anyone considering bariatric surgery (weight loss surgery) and any patient who has already had a bariatric procedure at UCLH.
It is a great opportunity to hear other people’s experiences and to get support in managing some of the challenges of weight loss surgery.
The sessions are facilitated by members of the bariatric team such as a bariatric dietitian and/or psychologist. Each session will typically include a short talk that focuses on a subject around bariatric surgery. There will then be time for group discussions.
There are 30 spaces available, and it is based on a first come first serve basis. Please cancel if you are no longer able to attend.
If we reach capacity, we would encourage you to add your name to the waiting list, as you will be emailed if a space becomes available for you.
Please ensure that you join the session 5-10 minutes before it begins so we can start promptly. If you are late, then you will not be able to join.
Please check on this page before any session to ensure you have the most up to date information.
If you have any questions, please contact the team on firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 020 3447 9419 or 020 3447 5463.
