It also provides specialist surgical treatment for some patients within the North Central London sector who are diagnosed with bowel cancer under the NHS bowel cancer screening programme based at UCLH.

• Myalgic encephalomyelitis (MECFS) & Fibromyalgia Service.

  ME/CFS is a condition where chronic fatigue is not, much relieved by rest. It affects daily functioning and may also trigger joint pains, mood and sleep disturbance, concentration difficulties, headaches, intestinal and urinary symptoms.

• Integrated Children and Adolescent Service

  The Integrated Children’s and Adolescent Service has been established to provide complementary care alongside orthodox treatments. The clinic sees children up to 18 years old with a wide variety of illnesses.

• Acute Stroke Unit

  The Acute Stroke Unit (ASU) is the next step of care for stroke patients who come to the Hyper-acute Stroke Unit (HASU) at UCLH.
