Friends of the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine

About the Friends

The Friends was started in 1975 by Sidney Jaque who donated the first £5 to start the funds moving.

We are a voluntary organisation run by its members for the benefit of the patients and staff of the hospital.

What We Do at RLHIM

We support the patients and the doctors and nurses working at the hospital. A happy band of volunteers runs the snack bar on the third floor and the proceeds from this go towards providing the help we give to the RLHIM.

We also give support to train doctors and nurses on post-graduate courses.

We also support CAMLIS - The Complementary and Alternative Medicine Information Service based at the hospital.

The Research Department provides evidence of the effectiveness of treatment and this work is also supported by the ‘Friends’

The Friends of the Royal London Hospital for Integrated Medicine  – Supporting the Hospital, homeopathy and other complementary therapies within the NHS.

Founded in 1975, it is a registered charity (No.269289) and voluntary organisation run by its members for the benefit of the patients and staff of the hospital.
