I am delighted to be a trust governor; I want to help work to ensure staff achieve their full potential. I am passionate about inclusivity and everyone having a fair opportunity.
I work as a planning and performance manager within the planning and performance team. I have worked within the trust for 19 of my 20 years in the NHS. In that time I have worked across most sites, new and old, and in a variety of roles. In addition I have volunteered for the previous five years on the HR helpdesk to triage calls, during the COVID-19 pandemic helped book staff local accommodation and worked with pharmacy on the wards, and I was a member of the trust 52 Club gym for 15 years. This has given me an excellent understanding of the trust but importantly of the staff who work within the trust.
I am a big believer in coaching and developing people. It is something I have greatly enjoyed as a manager but now as a mentor within the trust.
Outside of work I enjoy watching live sport, comedy, music, and theatre. I am an also avid gym user, five-a-side player, and Strava fan.
