Junior doctors who are members of the British Medical Association (BMA) and Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association (HCSA) and junior dental trainees who are members of the British Dental Association are to take industrial action between Wednesday 14 and Saturday 17 June. The strike action will impact all UCLH hospitals.
During strike action, we will prioritise emergency care and patients seeking urgent treatment will be seen. We are working hard to ensure we minimise disruption to services and maintain patient safety during this time.
If we need to rearrange any appointments, we will contact patients directly to let them know. If you have an appointment at any of our hospitals, please assume this is going ahead unless you have been told otherwise. If you’re concerned and feel you need to speak to someone, please contact your clinical team using the contact information on your appointment letter or on our website.
If you need medical help or advice, go to NHS 111 online www.111.nhs.uk or call 111, unless it is a life-threatening emergency when you should still call 999.
Our maternity services and emergency department remain open – please do attend as normal if you need urgent care.
If you’re still concerned then you can find details of our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on our website.
