Publish date: 15 February 2024
The strike will run from 7am on Saturday 24 February until 11.59pm on Wednesday 28 February.
Junior doctor members of the Hospital Consultants and Specialists Association (HCSA) will walk out during the same period and will be on strike until 7am on Thursday 29 February.
UCLH will prioritise care in its emergency department for patients with a life-threatening illness or injury. Patients who do not have a life-threatening condition may be directed to other healthcare providers.
We are working hard to minimise disruption to non-emergency services and maintain patient safety during this time. If we need to rearrange any appointments, we will contact patients directly to let them know. If you have an appointment at any of our hospitals, please assume this is going ahead unless you have been told otherwise. If you’re concerned and feel you need to speak to someone, please contact your clinical team using the contact information on your appointment letter or on our website.
If you need medical help or advice, go to NHS 111 online at www.111.nhs.uk or call 111, unless it is a life-threatening emergency when you should still call 999.
Our maternity services and emergency department remain open – please do attend as normal if you need urgent care.
If you’re still concerned, then you can find details of our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on our website.
