UCLH’s children and young people’s emergency department and acute inpatient paediatric beds have reopened.
The children and young people’s emergency department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Anyone aged under 18 needing care for an accident or emergency can visit us.
To protect our patients and help stop the spread of Covid-19, we have visitor restrictions in place. Follow this link for the latest information.
Our children and young people’s team offers the following to GPs:
- Consultant hotline 07803 853 567 – for immediate advice and same day urgent case reviews please call the consultant hotline. The service is available 24/7 (covered by a senior SpR overnight).
- Rapid referral reviews – within 1-2 days of booking on the e-Referral Service (e-RS).
- Outpatients – fully open for general paediatrics and all of our specialist clinics via the e-Referral Service (e-RS).
