Sixteen runners sported their UCLH Charity vests to run the iconic half marathon last weekend. The event, which covers just over 13 miles, sees thousands of runners striding through the closed streets of London, past some of the most well known and iconic sights of our capital city.

#TeamUCLH included several members of staff, runners from corporate organisations and supporters with a connection to UCLH. The runners were supported by friends, family and members of the fundraising team who gathered at a cheerpoint at mile nine.

Rosannah Dawood, head of fundraising said, “It was wonderful to see our runners take part in one of the best half marathons in the capital! Despite the chilly start, the rain held off and we loved cheering on all our participants along the route! Congratulations to everyone who took part, we are so proud of every single one of you!"

"So far, our runners have raised a wonderful £7500 with funds still trickling in. Their JustGiving pages are still open so if you’d like to donate you still can, we are hoping to reach £10,000!"
