Professional background
Dr. Wimalasingham is a Consultant Medical Oncologist with specialist expertise in gastrointestinal (GI) cancers. Her clinical practice encompasses both upper and lower GI malignancies, with a particular focus on oesophageal, gastric, colorectal, pancreatic, and biliary tract cancers.
She also serves as the Lead for the Acute Oncology Service at University College London Hospitals (UCLH), where she is responsible for overseeing the delivery of urgent cancer care and ensuring excellence in the management of oncology-related emergencies.
