Professional background
Dr Gupta is a consultant clinical oncologist specialising in the treatment of head and neck cancers. He has attained experience in treating head and neck cancers across North London, as well as completing a 2.5 year research fellowship with the head and neck unit at The Royal Marsden Hospital. He is currently based at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, but he holds an honorary contract with University College London Hospital.
Dr Gupta completed his speciality training in the North London network. He also successfully acquired his MD(Res) degree with the Institute of Cancer Research, where he has published papers in the topic of adaptive radiotherapy using functional imaging for head and neck cancers.
His current clinical and research interests lie in adaptive radiotherapy, stereotactic radiotherapy and functional imaging for head and neck cancers.
