Professional background

Dr Kevin Chiu is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist subspecialising in Head and Neck cancer. He holds an honorary contract with University College London Hospitals.

Dr Chiu completed his primary medical degree at University of Manchester, his oncological training was in Southwest England Deanery, He then successfully completed a senior clinical and research Head & Neck Fellowship at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University of Toronto, Canada.

Dr Chiu the primary Head & Neck oncologist at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, covering Northwick Park, Watford, and Wexham Park, Luton & Bedfordshire, and East & North Hertfordshire hospitals. He is the Head and Neck Research Lead, as well as the Clinical Lead for radiation services at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

Dr Chiu’s research interest include complex targeted radiotherapy and systemic treatments for Head and Neck cancer. He has been Principal Investigator and Chief Investigator for various national and international Head and Neck cancer studies.
