Professional background

I studied at St Andrew’s and Cambridge Universities and trained at Cambridge, Northwick Park, St Mary’s and The Royal Brompton and National Heart Hospitals before joining UCLH.

I am a consultant cardiologist at UCLH and an honorary clinical associate professor at UCL. I run the UCLH rapid-access service for patients with suspected cardiac chest pain. I have a major commitment to teaching and am consultant Lead for undergraduate clinical cardiology teaching at UCLH. I am a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. I am joint champion for flexible training and support at UCLH.
