Professional background

Dr Serena Braccio is a general paediatrician with an interest in paediatric allergy.

She graduated from the University of Bari (Italy) in 2009 and completed her paediatric training in London, working in general and subspeciality paediatric posts including neonatal and paediatric intensive care, allergy, infectious disease, and emergency medicine. She completed a MSc in Allergy at Imperial College London and has worked in infectious disease and vaccine research at St. George’s University, London and Public Health England (PHE). She has presented at national and international paediatric and allergy conferences.  

Serena is an Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) and Neonatal Life Support (NLS) instructor. She works full time, is part of the attending and on call acute paediatric rota and runs general paediatric and paediatric allergy clinics.
