Professional background

Krishna Chinthapalli is a consultant neurologist at the Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated from Imperial College School of Medicine in London.

His training in medicine and neurology was in London at St Mary's Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital, University College Hospital, the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery and St George's Hospital. He also trained in Surrey and was selected to be a neurology fellow in Sydney, Australia.

He completed a BSc Neuroscience degree in retinal photoreceptor research and was later awarded a PhD in Neuroscience for epilepsy genomics research.

He has a specialist epilepsy clinic at the Chalfont Centre for Epilepsy.
